Company History:
Over 11 years ago, North Fork bullets were created by Mike Brady of Glenrock, Wyoming, in an effort to produce the best hunting bullets on the market- without compromise. Mike’s obsession with perfection and years of continuous development resulted in a line of premium bonded core soft point bullets. His development led to an incredibly strong and accurate bullet design with controlled expansion, perfectly suited for handling any medium to large game on the planet. Along with the premium bonded core bullets in the larger calibers, a line of solids was created to back up the softs if the need arises. The solids are designed to complement the softs by hitting at the same point of impact and delivering incredible penetration with a large wound channel. Recently, a cup point solid was added to offer an “expanding solid” to be used on the toughest of game as an alternative to the soft point.
North Fork Bullets are now manufactured in Philomath, Oregon. Improved processes and equipment allow us to increase availability while retaining the same great performance our customers have come to expect.
Bullet Design:
All North Fork bullets start from a bar of solid copper and are individually turned on a CNC lathe for the utmost in precision. Pure copper is more difficult and time-consuming to machine, but it holds together better under impact than gilded copper jackets. All North Fork bullets utilize Smart Band Technology (SBT™) to reduce bore fouling and pressure.
Soft Point:
The soft points have a 100% bonded lead core front and a solid copper shank rear ensuring high weight retention, deep penetration, and controlled expansion through a wide range of velocities.
Solid:
The flat point solids are designed with a truncated cone flat point, and engineered to hit the same point of impact as the soft points. The flat point and truncated nose cone result in a straighter path after impact than traditional round-pointed solids, ensuring your follow-up shots are effective.
Cup Point Solid:
Like the flat point solid, cup point solids are designed to hit the same point of impact as the soft points. By adding a large shallow cup at the front of the bullet nose, North Fork has created an “expanding solid” bullet. Deemed by many as one of the greatest advances in bullet technology for large calibers, cup point solids bridge the gap between softs and solids.
North Fork bullets are engineered to give you the confidence you need in pursuit of game- without compromise.
