This creates a wound channel 3-5 times larger than the caliber. That along with a penetration that beats many solid bullets. All North Fork solids are safe for double rifles because it is only our driving bands that are against the barrel, which minimizes pressure spikes and deposits while many other solid bullets create very high pressures when loading.
